Learning
from the best, she has slowly started a powerful and important
line that has been buzzing from Japan to Texas from
the world of celebrities to Little Rock, Arkansas. "When
you have two different worlds to live in as I did, it helps
in that I am able to tap into so many different personalities
and ways of life. I wanted to create things that could work
for people of any age, race, size, lifestyle. I truly believe
we all want the same thing
to be happy. So my whole
thought process when creating is about wanting to make people
feel and look good
With
the success of The Wrap, Annie has begun to slowly build her
line keeping with the belief that we all simply want to feel
good and be comfortable in what we put on our bodies. Hence,
the skirt was born. It's a floor length, 100% cotton skirt
with a loose fitting elastic waist band. The words are on
the back at the bottom, and again, keeping it versatile and
convenient, the skirt can also be worn as a dress.
The
whole idea when creating is really about wanting women to
feel good about themselves. When we feel good, it translates
to everything we do. Having a beautiful word with us is such
a powerful reminder. We are given messages all day long and
to me, it just made sense to make clothing with positive messages.
Think
about driving in your car and being wrapped in a Patience
Wrap. Now imagine getting frustrated at the person driving
too slow in front of you. It's really hard to do. Believe
me, I've tried it. Or imagine being wrapped in Love and getting
angry at someone.

These
words help us to remember what's really important. I love
that! I love the idea of doing whatever we can to be kinder
to ourselves and others. And to be able to do this with clothing
is a dream for me. I have been very blessed to learn from
my dad that you can marry spirituality with fashion. And that
it is incredibly important to do so. He based his whole clothing
store on wanting customers to feel great about themselves.
It was his number one goal. I want to do the same. It not
only gives to the customer but it gives to me too and that
is such a gift. ...Anne Segal
